It is raining outside. It has been raining for the last three days. Instead of braving the wet, here I sit, being lazy, watching the "How to Steal a Million" movie. It is a beautiful old movie.
My sweet kitty is softly laying on my blooming lily plants, pushing the tall stems over and off to the side. She is working on destroying the delicate, lightly irridescent, orange blooms. They have blooming for about seven days.
Earlier today, I baked an Italian Cream Cake for my husband's 50th birthday. About two weeks ago, my husband tasted the dessert at work and brought the recipe home to me. It is made from scratch and is delicious.
