Two weeks ago I shot this awesome image in a local cave with special granted permission from the landowner. It took two hours to set and get this one image. Today, I get to go back and take a model who will have on one of my wedding dress props. After all, I should be using theses dresses if I am going to take the time and energy to store them.
Happy Lighting!

Good Morning! I did get some things done yesterday. Sorted, weeded, and moved out some of my clothes after I made the bed. I picked some of the last of our blueberries and put two quarts in the freezer. The birds and squirrels just love the berries. They can tell there seems to be fewer and fewer. The fight more and more now that they are almost gone. I pulled all on my sewing items and cloth together into one pile. I decided how to finish the little flowergirl's head piece. The bride loves it. My kitchen is clean. After a full day of accomplishments, I rewarded myself with a very small edit on the rodeo pictures.
Double Stars
Something is Coming
Turning the Other Cheek.
This is my favorite so far. The unity of movement in the horses step and the color of the hats sandwiches all the differences in between. The shirts are different colors and styles as well as the horses color. Even the ropee has contrasted colors.
OFF TO MY ERRANDS Happy Day!

Let me see! My mind is all over the place which is normal. I am a morning person so that does not help either. I hit the ground running with my feet and my legs.
I slowed down enough to do the normal weigh-in. I slow way down and lightly step on the scale so as to not upset the thing in any way. I am rewarded with another 1/2 pound gone. Small small small steps and slow slow slow progress!!!!!!! I then go to make my bed.
I made my bed yesterday for the first time in a long while ( I had company coming). It looked so nice that I decided I would make it again today. I had a pile of clothes that needed put away, so I just piled those on the bed. I have decided; I will go through my hope pile and see if any clothes can be added to the active file. Then, when I lose another 1 1/2 pounds, I will do another clean out of my closet. I have been doing that on a regular basis as I go to dress. If it is a little big and OOOOps, you can see in the side arm holes, it is moved to the give away pile. Last week, I was blessed with two nice dresses (cannot wear them out but I can look fabulous at home) and two nice shirts. I am being very careful not to spend money on clothes right now. Some of the shirts can be moved to the crafts pile.
Crafts, oh my goodness! I am not sure what is happening to me, but the last week, I have had creative ideas that are WOW! Not sure where this is supposed to be going, but I am flexible. Yesterday, I saw a scrolled map and felt like I hit the jackpot with an awesome idea. I should write it down and stay on task for my life. DECLUTTER!!!!!!! I am feeling another wave of organize an area.
My sewing things are missing. Not all of them! But my needle-threader, the button jar, and a couple of other things. That means that before I take on any more sewing crafts, I should declutter and set up an area for my sewing. Maybe, I could use Jon's loft(son moved to his own house a couple of years ago) as the sewing/guest room.
Aside from sewing, I have some awesome pictures of ROPING RODEO that I need to edit and process. I have done a few, but need to do all of them.

Tuesday Tea? No. This is the table set for lunch. I am blessed this week to have the opportunity to go to lunch twice with friends. Yesterday, I decided to have lunch and invite friends over. I found out a long time ago that friends are too special to make them wait until my house is spotless to enjoy time with them. After all they really are not coming to see my dishes or clean laundry.

Finding the perfect gift for a bride and groom is not always easy. Sure they have registered and sent out good wishes to the bride fairies of Bloomingdales, Sears, and JC Penney. But, I love to give gifts that not just anyone can dream up. I may have found it. In my scrap pile, I came across some soft cotton or linen fabric that Jessica gave to me. I cut the squares. Then, I ironed them. After that, I folded and ironed the crease, making sure to fold and iron again.
Next, I zigzag stitched to each petal the letter or number necessary. Now, my niece and new nephew will have the perfect gift to put on their first Christmas tree, or hang on the wall, or whatever they want. I also may start selling personalized flowers for other bride's bouquet on etsy. I just love it. These could also make wonderful SAVE THE DATE photo cards or momentos.

Now, my dilemma is which center. It has to be perfect. I do not know the wedding colors at this time so I need to stick with a cream or ivory. I prefer circles rather than ovals.
I also think it would be nice to paint or stitch the last name initial for the center piece in the flower. I am also thinking of attaching an ivory satin cord or ribbon to provide for easy hanging.
As well as the first Christmas tree, it could be used in any wedding décor. Several sister flowers could be made to go on sashes, belts, or ribbons to be worn or even placed on the cake.
