I tried to convince myself that I was not going to be concerned with decorating this year. If I was able to get the house cleaner this year, that would be more important. I was wrong. I wanna decorate! I want my greenery up all around with bright red country apples, white lights, and snowflakes. I love the country Christmas look all over my log house. I am trying to set some goals for getting areas clean enough to bring in the boxes. I will probably start putting up the decorations on Monday. Be able to work on and post pictures to my Facebook has helped me quite a bit. I wonder though if the pictures are only waking up in me the enormous love for decorations.
We were out of milk this morning. Instead of cereal, I made homemade waffles for breakfast. Waffles made me think of baking, and having cream cheese sitting out at room temperature pushed me to try my danish recipe. Homemade danish pastry and filling are in the refrig for fresh cheese danishes in the morning.
