Contests
Jessica is always encouraging me with Etsy and Blogs. Here is a link to a contest that may be past a deadline. I am not sure what Sunday will be the end. http://flaxandspindle.blogspot.com/2009/06/june-giveaway.html
More Photography and Another Bikeride
After a week of showing and selling pictures, we went to Georgia again and rode 11 miles on the bike trail. We rode from mile 46 to 47.5 UP UP UP. That section was rough. We turned around and went eastward to mile 42. This section is well worth the time. Pastoral views and shaded forested mingled to make for a pleasant ride. We stopped at a very small creek and observed an alligator snapping turtle. We did not disturb him as he made his way under the water along the edge. His head was enormous. Back at the car, we loaded up, headed home, stopped at a yard sale (where I found a set of black striped Corelle dishes to go with my Red Cafe set for $1.50,) and arrived home just before the rain.
Now for lunch.

Blueberries, weight, and pictures
Steve and I went through the blueberrries on our way out to walk. Although he thought only one bush was ripening, we discovered three were actually ripening. This morning, I will pick the first good size bowl of blueberries.
I have lost only one pound this week. Losing five pounds last week was more exciting, but progress is progress.
I am going to sort, edit, and order the rest of the pictures from the baseball game on Tuesday night. Weaver has practice today, and I will take the pictures to show and sell at practice.
I best get to that editing. Have a great day all.

Blueberries
Yesterday, Steve picked five blueberries. The three that he gave to me were delicious. He said one of his was sweet and the other was not. So, I can officially say it's Blueberry Time. I doubt that I will be taking three gallons with me to Florida.
This is a better close up of the fountain coming out of the building along with a beautiful lily blooming in a corner planter beside the street.

More bikeriding
Sunday morning, we headed over to Rome, Georgia to ride on the River Walk/Trail. We road about eight miles through to city streets and along the river.
Rome is a beautiful place. I took the wrong camera with me so I was not able to get good pictures of the buildings. I had my zoom lens and not the wide angle. We did find a fountain coming out of the building on a side street.
I took my shoes off and dipped my legs in the water. It is, at the most, two feet deep.
After Rome we headed to Berry College and drove all over campus.
Saturday was a good, long, productive day. I got up and out around eight a.m. to visit the community yard sale located a mile down the road. Along with the community yard sale, I found one other community yard sale as well as six individual yard sale within three miles of the house.
After the yard sales, I worked in the yard some more. Then Steve and I drove to White Plains to show and sell some pictures. We then went over Baines Gap and down to the Jacksonville Walmart. I dropped Steve and the groceries at home, while I went four miles down the road to show and sell some more pictures.
Around four-thirty p.m., we headed to Anniston to visit and look at a cave on a friend's property. The cave turned out to be twenty-six feet long with mostly crawling passage. At six we left John and Katy's to go bikeriding on the north end of the Ladiga Bike Trail. We road eight miles and headed home. Since it was close to sunset, Steve asked me if I wanted to go to Chimney Peak to watch and take pictures of the sunset.

Bike ride
Steve and I went to Rockmart, Georgia to ride on the Silver Comet Bike Trail. We rode a total of 14 miles to the Brushy Mountain Tunnel and back. When we got back home, it was too late to go to Park day.
Cherries are in season now. Also, the neighbor's blue hydrangea plants are on their way to full bloom.
I spent a couple of minutes organizing some photos for display and resell.
Now, I am heading out to help Steve work in the yard.
